Hola, gang, and happy new year! 2017 is right around the corner.
To celebrate, I’ve made up a playlist of the fast food items and otherwise that I’ve rated BEST EVAR in 2016 and beyond. It’s always a thrill for me to find yummy things that are so good they warrant a BEST EVAR rating. It doesn’t happen very often, but when it does, it’s gold! Before you watch, I want to thank you all once again for tuning in each week, subscribing, sharing, and all your comments. Without you, my amazing Crony Community, I’m just some old nerd talking to a camera.
I just woke up this morning to discover that it’s National Bacon Day! How cool is that? The most loved and talked about meat in America is being celebrated today! How are you spending this extraordinary day? In a bacon bath? A bacon spritz? Getting cozy with a bacon coffee? Let me know!! Whatever you end up doing or not doing, I hope you have a fab National Bacon Day!
Today’s review is up on the Old Nerd Reviews channel. I have once again combed the depths of my local dollar store to bring you all another exciting, gut-wrenching episode of Eating The Dollar Stores. I’ve gone to the frozen food section to try the Pierre Boneless Pork Riblets. There are many of you who want me to review the McDonald’s McRib. Around the area I live, the McRib is nowhere to be found, so I wanted to bring you, hopefully, the next best thing. Something you could use to Frankenstein together your very own. Here’s the review:
There you go, gang! Have a terrific weekend and I’ll see you on Sunday!
I have one tools that has helped grow my YouTube channel more than anything else and it’s TubeBuddy.
I love YouTube! I’m sure that’s not news to any one of you. I’ve been on the video platform and been a YouTube creator since 2006. Throughout all that time, I have made a lot of mistakes, but have learned a lot more. Implementing that knowledge as I’ve moved forward has helped me grow a few of my present channels to a really nice degree. Isn’t it always better when there is someone that has trod the beaten path before you so you don’t have to weather the bumps yourself? Being able to get the solid information, know the good tools, get the great advice, and know how it all works together is pure gold! Helping people take a shorter and more direct road to online success is a real passion of mine. Today, the tool I want to share with you is TubeBuddy.
I have used many tools and services for many different things, both free and paid, but there are only a few that I became a fanboy of, in the truest sense of the word. TubeBuddy is the go-to tool I use every single day to grow my YouTube channels, more specifically, my Old Nerd Reviews channel.
TubeBuddy is a browser extension that works it’s way into your YouTube channel to help you find trending topics, top keywords, best times to post your videos, create better meta data, A/B tests, easy social posting, and so much more. One of the many groovy things about it is that the creators keep adding new features to it and the price for a paid version stays the same (the free version is great, but the paid version takes it all the next level, believe me!). When I discovered TubeBuddy and all it could do to help me grow my channel and do tedious and monotonous things so much easier, I almost threw money at it! Now, I cannot imagine doing without it. There are very few tools or services that I recommend to people and let them know that they are a must-have. TubeBuddy is definitely one of those few on that fairly short list.
Let me show you a few videos that I’ve created to show off a few of the features:
CREATE SUPER EASY VIDEO LINKS WITH TUBEBUDDY:
GETTING YOUR YOUTUBE VIDEOS TO RANK BETTER WITH TUBEBUDDY:
BEST TIME TO PUBLISH VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE:
Those are a few of the videos I’ve created to show off the power of TubeBuddy. There are some more and even more to be made.
Anyway, these introduce a few features and they haven’t even scratched the surface of all that it does. If you want to grow and market your own YouTube channel faster and easier, check out TubeBuddy to get the full monty of everything it offers. We’re all in this thing together! 😉
Recently, Taco Bell introduced 3 varieties of their new, limited-time Double Stacked Tacos. Each one boasts a contrast of flavors within the double shells. They offer a Nacho Crunch, a Spicy Sweet, and a Cool Habanero. I’m slightly confused though. Their in-house menu has the Cool Habanero option, but it’s nowhere to be found on their web site. Not that I really care about the Habanero one. Too hot for me! Rather, they have a Cool Ranch (not a contrast at all really). I’m scratching my head on this one.
One of the shining stars of any of these is that each one of them will only cost you a single buck! That’s really good, for something with as much stuff as they each have in them. Not sure how long the Taco Double Stacked Tacos will be around, but if you’re looking to try any or all of them, I suggest you do it right away. Lately, limited-time items at Taco Bell have not been hanging around for too long. I bat an eye and they’re gone.
So, with the introduction out of the way, here is my food review of the Taco Bell Spicy Sweet Double Stacked Taco:
So, there you go. Go out and give them a try and let me know your opinion in the comments.
Hola, gang, and merry Christmas from Old Nerd Reviews!
This year has been terrific and I have all of you to thank for it. As I’ve said many times before, without my audience, I’d be an old dude sitting in my car talking to myself. The years go so fast anymore. It seems to be that way for everyone who is getting older. If you’re a younger pup, you’ll see what I mean some day. 😉
The YouTube channel is growing, as are my social media channels. Needless to say, I’m having a ton of fun doing what I do and am always looking to try new things. Thinking outside the box and being as creative as you want to be is always the key to growing any sort of brand online. Anyone can do it. It just takes hard work, passion, and the mind-set that tells you to never give up. Just some encouragement. 😉
Anywho, thank you so much for hanging with me and here is to a wonderfully groovy new 2017!!
I’m on an Old Nerd Reviews Christmas schedule right now. There was no video on Friday and will be none on Sunday, but here is one for today! I’m taking a look at the PB&Jealous subscription box for December. This thing promises high quality and unique jams, jellies, syrups, honeys, nut butters, and more for those who loves that kind of thing. Count me in!
Here’s the video for you:
Thanks so much for all your love and support this year and have an amazing Christmas! See you again on Tuesday!
I got hold of my best friend, Bryce L Tomlinson of the BroBryceHealth YouTube channel and we did a hour-long LIVE stream of cooking and chat about the Ketogenic diet. Over the past few years, Bryce has lost a lot of weight thanks to the Keto diet. The great part about it all is that he still gets to enjoy eating really yummy things, but lose and keep his weight off in a healthy way. There is so much misinformation in the medical community, the bottom line being that it’s all about the Benjamins. If there isn’t sick people around, there isn’t any money to be made. That the short and the long of it. I could get on my soap box and go on about this, but I’m going to let you enjoy the video and let Bryce talk about it and make some tasty deviled eggs, sandwiches, and Bullet Proof Coffee. Enjoy!
If you know anyone who struggles with their weight, suffers from diabetes, etc, this would be a great video to share with them, as well as information from Bryce. For all the recipes and to ask Bryce anything you’d like to now about the Keto diet and eating right, hit him up on the BroBryceHealth YouTube channel and over at his BroBryceHealth Facebook group.
Take care and I’ll talk to you soon. Everyone have a very merry Christmas!!
I had a ton of fun shooting today’s video release on Old Nerd Reviews on YouTube. I was going to unbox and review a subscription box for heavy-chewing dogs called Bullymake Box. Unfortunately, I realized that I wasn’t going to be the best fit to do so. Being the man of ingenuity I am, I decided to enlist the services of my furry grandson, Artemis The Brave, my grandson and son’s Pomchi. He turned out to be a great guy to collaborate with! Check out the video below:
Hope you have a great Sunday and I’ll see you in the next video! Don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE and share! 😉
Last night was my final shoot on the television show GRIMM. Hard to believe that I’ve been doing background acting for the show since the first season! I played various parts during the run: a party goer, bar patron, doctor, detective, Portland police officer, CSU (Crime Scene Unit), medical examiner, and zombie, many of them multiple times. It’s been a fun ride! The GRIMM crew have truly been amazing. They always took really good care of all of us background actors, to the very end.
Here are a couple pictures from last night’s dinner before the crew went off for their Christmas break. When they return in January, they’ll be shooting the final episode of the entire series. I’ll have to wait and see whether I get the call to be in it. I had the Filet Mingon, lobster tail with drawn butter, Fettuccine Alfredo, and scalloped potatoes, and finally a slice of cheese cake for dessert.
I’ll post some pictures from my previous shoots, if you’re interested. Goodnight sweet GRIMM. It’s been a great ride!
I braved the cold and snowy 31 degree weather here in the great Pacific NW to get to Burger King and try their .89 cent pancakes. These are the same pancakes offered on their breakfast platter. It seems like a really good price for a stack of pancakes. Are they even worth that much? Let’s give them a shot!
Thanks for tuning in, gang! I appreciate your continued support. If you’d like to be a part of the bigger picture to help make this possible, you can become a channel supporter through Patreon. Some of the benefits are behind-the-scenes content and you get to see the videos the day before their public release. More benefits on the way! Best of all, you get the warm fuzzy feeling that you’re helping an Old Nerd bring the content to you. 😉
